The Wick Society is committed to identifying, preserving and presenting information and artefacts that tell the story of Wick, and the surrounding area, for the benefit of the town and its people.

We are working to bring the Heritage Museum, and its administrative procedures, to the standards required for Accreditation by the Scottish Museums Council.

As finance becomes available we want to develop and extend the Museum by taking full advantage of the site that is now in the ownership of the Society. During this development process we will also try to meet the constant requests from our many visitors to provide facilities for light refreshments.

Our greatest hope is that more Wickers will join the Society and bring with them their skills, ideas and enthusiasm to ensure that The Wick Heritage Museum continues to play a key part in the future prosperity of the town.
